About the founder, Fernanda Vinent
When I say hockey is a big family, it's not just a phrase. We are 5 brothers and sisters and we have all played this sport (some of them are still playing).
At the age of 15, I was part of the National Argentinian Team U-16, and it was around this time that I took my first steps into coaching with the minor divisions.
When I was 18, I was part of the 1st Division of the club “Gymnastics and Fencing” of Buenos Aires, winning several titles on local and regional championships.
Field Hockey is much more than just a sport. It gave me the opportunity to make friends, growing up in a healthy and familiar environment, traveling to other countries and learning values such as teamwork, commitment and solidarity. Also it makes you feel part of a group with strong emotional ties, and above all, thousands of laughs and memories that will be with me for the rest of my life.
I stopped playing it competitively when my twins arrived to our family.
Two years ago, my family and I moved to The Woodlands because my husband was relocated, and today I am starting this new part of my life full of enthusiasm and joy.
